Dear Friends,

Just recently, The Hope of Survivors had an exhibit booth at the Kern County fairgrounds in California. Volunteers, Gail & Elgin Jenkins, represented The Hope of Survivors. Here’s their encouraging report:

“Gail and I had an opportunity to represent The Hope of Survivors (THOS) at the Kern County Fairgrounds which hosted The Messiah’s Mansion Tour. One of the buildings housed the different ministry booths which was open to the public May 19-20. This was a wonderful opportunity to share the powerful and impactful ministry of THOS with those who visited our booth.

We once again were so pleased to hear from several individuals how much they appreciate a ministry like THOS. We heard time and time again, from those who visited the THOS’ booth, heart-wrenching stories of how clergy sexual abuse has negatively impacted their personal lives and the lives of their loved ones. Gail was able to pray with several ladies who have been victimized or know of a loved one who was victimized by a spiritual leader or family member. I also had the opportunity to pray with a couple of men. It seems like more people are more willing now to share the devastating impact of sexual abuse that have weighed heavily on their hearts.

It’s a tremendous blessing to share that there is HOPE in Christ Jesus and to be able to pray with those who have been or know of those who have been abused. Also, it’s a blessing to be able to provide materials that will help, by God’s grace, on their journey to complete healing.

THOS is a much-needed ministry in these last days of Earth’s history. Jesus Christ wants to bring healing and restoration to His dear children who have been taken advantage of by clergy, a family member or by others. Please continue to support with your prayers and finances this vital ministry of healing and restoration. And, to those who have not previously supported THOS, please earnestly pray to our lovely Lord and Savior and ask Him how He wants you to support THOS. Jesus is coming very soon and there are many who need to experience His love and healing power. THOS is here to be used by our lovely Lord, Savior and Redeemer and the Holy Spirit to accomplish that. We are deeply grateful to Gail and Elgin who volunteer their time at these exhibits to minister to the wounded on behalf of THOS. There are many more exhibits and conferences taking place this year (check the Calendar for more details), which will reach many wounded people who need to know their abuse by a spiritual leader was not their fault and there is hope for healing.
