Dear Friends,
Looking back over the year, I stand in awe at what God has done and how He has made it possible for The Hope of Survivors to continue to minister to victims of clergy sexual abuse for another year. I am deeply indebted to our many volunteers who work tirelessly to give courage, strength and hope to victims. We could not function without them! And, I am truly humbled by the financial support that our donors provide to keep this mission operating. Thank you ALL!
As 2019 winds down, we are busy preparing for several events in 2020. Coming up in June will be a pastoral convention in Kentucky where approximately 6,000 pastors, church leaders and administrators will be attending, many of them with their spouses. We have reserved our exhibit space there already and need your help to cover travel expenses for several of our volunteers who will be exhibiting there on behalf of The Hope of Survivors. Jackie, who is in charge of our pastor’s wives’ division, will be there to reach out to the many spouses who will be there. This is a really wonderful opportunity for The Hope of Survivors to reach a new segment of victims, and this is also the first time we will have exhibited at this particular convention. We’d appreciate your prayers!
Our global divisions and NGOs all need your prayer and support too, and I’d ask that you please let me know if you know of anyone in the UK, the Philippines, Canada, Romania, Australia, or elsewhere, who might have a heart to help The Hope of Survivors in any of these locations. Thank you!
We would like to continue to raise even greater awareness of clergy sexual abuse and the mission of The Hope of Survivors, as well as reach more victims worldwide in 2020 and, as such, we continue to need your prayers and financial support. There are multiple ways in which you can give a tax-deductible gift TODAY–before the end of the year:
(1) Donate directly through The Hope of Survivors website.
(2) Mail your check to: The Hope of Survivors, 843 Broadway, Sonoma, CA 95476. As long as it is dated by 12/31/19, it will count toward your tax deductions for 2019.
(3) Donate through our profile on GuideStar.
Please prayerfully consider supporting The Hope of Survivors today to help us off to a great start for 2020! Thank you!
God be with you and have a healthy, blessed and peace-filled new year!
