Lost But Found

Wounded heart, void of feeling
Afraid to disclose its inner secret—
Scared of reactions, scared of rejection,
Lost in the flood of mixed emotion

Wandering heart, led astray
Afraid of continuing in the wrong direction—
Searching for meaning, searching for love
A prisoner of this hidden confusion

Rescued heart, saved by grace
By God’s love revealed at the cross—
Surrendering my heart, surrendering my life
To give Him glory in every circumstance.
